DIY Ice Cream Workshop

DESCRIPTION

In this DIY workshop, your group will create your own signature ice cream flavors. At booking, you will reserve your 30-minute time slot and select your shared ice cream base: vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter, cheesecake, brown sugar, or white chocolate. When you arrive, you will select up to ten (10) add-ins to include in your ice cream. You will also receive four (4) half-pint containers or two (2) pint containers to scoop out your creation. Once you're done, you can enjoy your ice cream on-site.

- Ten (10) premium add-ins to include in your ice cream

- All ice cream making equipment

OTHER DETAILS

- Please arrive at your scheduled workshop time to check-in. Late arrivals may be limited in their add-in selections and/or may have less time to complete their ice cream. Please be advised, we do not reschedule in the event you are late or fail to show to your workshop.

- You will be standing for most of the class. If you require an accommodation, please email eat@sweetwynns.com prior to your scheduled workshop.

- Our workshops are for ice cream makers only. Everyone in attendance needs a paid seat to stay on premises during the workshop.

AGE POLICY

There is no age requirement for this workshop. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age and older) for the duration of the event.

HEALTH POLICY

All workshop attendees must wear closed-toed shoes and hair longer than shoulder-length must be pulled back or put up (e.g. in a ponytail or a bun). We strictly adhere to Department of Health guidelines and any person with a fever or who is experiencing persistent coughing, sneezing, or a runny nose that causes discharges from the eyes, nose, or mouth may not attend the workshop.

REFUND/RESCHEDULE POLICY

In order to provide you with an exceptional experience, we have a firm no refund policy. If you cancel your reservation more than 24 hours in advance, you may reschedule for another workshop of equal or lesser value that occurs within the next 30 days. Due to the nature of this workshop, we are unable to reschedule or issue credits for future use to ice cream makers who fail to provide 24 hour notice of their expected absence. FAQS

I booked a ticket to the DIY Ice Cream Workshop, but there are only two people in my group - how will that work?

While admission includes up to four ice cream makers, you can absolutely come as a duo! You will still receive one quart of ice cream (2 pints or 4 half-pints) and ten add-ins to enjoy. Happy scooping!

I made so much ice cream and I can't eat it all! Would I be able to take it to-go?

Absolutely! We can pop your extra ice cream into our blast chiller to keep it nice and cold until you're ready to leave. 

The description says I will get four (4) half-pint or two (2) pint containers but I will make a quart. Can you explain?

Each ticket will include one quart of ice cream. One quart is equal to 2 pints or 4 half-pints. When you arrive, you can choose whether you would like 2 pints or 4 half-pints. You can create one flavor in each container. 

I have extra ice cream that won't fit in my container. Can I get another one?

Sure thing! Just let your Workshop Assistant know you have extra ice cream and we'll bring you another container.

How is this workshop different from the Create Your Own Flavor workshop?

Our Create Your Own Flavor Workshop is a two-hour class where you will work with a partner to create your own vanilla, chocolate, or peanut butter ice cream from scratch. In our DIY Ice Cream Workshop, the ice cream base is already made when you arrive so you can spend more time experimenting with add-ins to create a brand new ice cream flavor! This 30-minute workshop also gives you more ice cream bases to choose from and each ticket includes admission for up to four (4) ice cream makers. How is this workshop different from the Sweet Kids Workshop?

Our Sweet Kids Workshop is a 90-minute class where your child will work in a group of 4 to create a vanilla ice cream from scratch. It is recommended for children ages 5 - 12. In our DIY Ice Cream Workshop, the ice cream base is already made when you arrive so you can spend more time experimenting with add-ins to create a brand new ice cream flavor! Will we make ice cream from scratch in this workshop?

In our DIY Ice Cream Workshop, your ice cream base will be ready when you arrive so you and your group can enjoy experimenting with add-ins and create new flavors. If you would like to create your own ice cream from scratch, check out our upcoming workshops here.

I already selected my ice cream base, but I changed my mind. Can I choose a different base when I arrive?

As we create the ice cream bases prior to your arrival, we are unable to make changes the day of your workshop. Please contact our customer support team at eat@sweetwynns.com at least 24 hours in advance to change your base flavor.

My group can't decide on a shared ice cream base. Can we get two different flavors?

Each ticket includes admission for up to four ice cream makers with one shared ice cream base. If you are having trouble deciding, we encourage you to purchase two tickets and select a different base on the second order.

I have an allergy - can I still attend this workshop?

We do our best to accommodate allergies and we kindly ask our ice cream makers to notify us in advance of any known allergies. Our standard recipe uses cow's milk which cannot be substituted at this time. Additionally, our add-in options may contain common allergies such as: tree nuts, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and/or soy. We encourage our ice cream makers with allergies to ask for the ingredient listing prior to consuming these items.
