Sun, Sep 18: Sweet Kids Ice Cream Workshop 10AM

DESCRIPTION

In this kid-friendly workshop, your child will be guided step-by-step through the ice cream making process and create their own ice cream flavor. First, they will challenge their taste buds in a taste test game as they learn about common ingredients found in their favorite ice cream flavors. Then, working in groups of 4, your child will put on their chef hat and create a vanilla-based ice cream from scratch with up to 2 unique add-ins. As their ice cream freezes, they will design their own ice cream labels. Afterwards, they will have the option to eat their sweet creation on-site or take it home to enjoy later.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

- Sweet Wynns Workshop Instructor who will guide your child through the ice cream making process

- Container of your child's signature ice cream flavor (8 ounces per person)

- All ice cream making equipment

AGE POLICY

This class is for children and their parent or guardian. Children must be at least 5 years of age to attend this workshop and be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age and older) for the duration of the event. 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled workshop to check-in. All workshop attendees must wear closed-toed shoes and hair longer than shoulder-length must be pulled back or put up (e.g. in a ponytail or a bun). You will be standing and cooking for most of the class.

Attendees will work in groups of 4 to create the ice cream base before independently selecting their unique add-ins. Please note that parties less than 4 may share their workstation with another group.

We strictly adhere to Department of Health guidelines and any person with a fever or is experiencing persistent coughing, sneezing, or a runny nose that causes discharges from the eyes, nose, or mouth may not attend the workshop.

Our workshops are for ice cream makers only. Everyone in attendance needs a paid seat to stay on premises during the workshop.
