Sweet Wynns is an ice cream making workshop that focuses on teaching our customers how to create premium ice creams from scratch. In our instructor-led workshops, you will taste your way through ice cream history, discovering its sweet origins and earliest flavors. Your creativity will then have the chance to shine when you create your own signature ice cream flavor. With endless combinations using our fresh, high-quality ingredients, we strive to create a one-of-a-kind ice cream experience to be enjoyed by all.

MEET THE WYNNS

The inspiration for Sweet Wynns came somewhere along the Seine River in Paris, France. Newlyweds, Pierre and Taryn Wynn spent their honeymoon exploring the city of light and immersed themselves in everything Parisian. One of their most memorable moments was making their own wine in the Caves du Louvre, the former wine cellar of King Louis XV. The experience was so incredible, it soon sparked an entrepreneurial idea. While the couple could not teach anyone how to make wine, ice cream was a different story.

Taryn has loved ice cream for as long as she could remember. In fact, her first job was at an ice cream shop in her hometown of Rochester, New York. Besides the obvious perk of free ice cream, she enjoyed learning how to make her favorite dessert. After meticulous planning and saving, the Wynns decided to bring the activity that has always brought Taryn joy to the Richmond community in the form of Sweet Wynns: an ice cream making workshop.

When Taryn is not experimenting with ice cream flavors, you can catch her spending time with her husband and three children, or binge watching animated and true crime shows - if she can get the remote from her three-year old.
